The exhibition Tracciando il sentiero. Arte, ambiente e visioni del futuro organized by Fondazione Garuzzo in collaboration with the Trigenia Award and curated by CRAG Gallery, is part of the programs Dialoghi e altri sguardi, StArt/arte Saluzzo, and Saluzzo Contemporanea. Hosted in the historic spaces of the Castiglia di Saluzzo, the project brings together works by artists associated with the Trigenia Award, exploring the relationship between energy, matter, and space through a variety of media, including painting, installation, photography, sculpture, and video. Within this framework, Domenico Antonio Mancini presents a work that reflects on cultural memory, social narratives, and the power of images in shaping collective understanding. Through his research-based practice, Mancini investigates how knowledge and representation influence our perception of the world, contributing a critical perspective to the exhibition’s broader reflection on responsibility, human experience, and contemporary society.

Le Divisament dou Monde is an exhibition inspired by the legacy of Marco Polo and the enduring cultural dialogue between Italy and the Far East. Through drawings on paper by 44 Italian artists, the project explores how Eastern cultures, landscapes, symbols, and histories continue to shape the imagination of contemporary Italian art. The work of Domenico Antonio Mancini reflects on cultural identity, collective memory, and the construction of social narratives. His critical and research-based approach, investigates the relationship between images, power, and historical representation.

At the 2026 edition of the Glyndebourne Festival, South African artist and director William Kentridge presents a new staging of L'Orfeo, marking Glyndebourne’s first-ever production of Monteverdi’s 1607 masterpiece. Kentridge transforms the myth of Orpheus into a meditation on artistic creation, memory, loss, and the power of images, creating a constantly shifting visual landscape. In L’Orfeo, themes of memory, history and displacement are translated into a visually immersive environment where art itself becomes a protagonist alongside the opera’s characters.

At the Renava Biennale 2026, titled Nimu Dormi (“No One Sleeps”), artist Vanessa Beecroft presents VB48 and VB52, two video documentations of her renowned performances, exhibited in collaboration with Lia Rumma Gallery. Beecroft’s work focuses on the female body as a tool for social and political reflection : groups of women standing still and arranged in highly structured formations, create powerful visual images that question themes such as identity, beauty, vulnerability, power, and the representation of the body.

Bringing together more than 200 works spanning centuries of artistic and cultural history, Identity, Culture, and Community explores the richness and diversity of Jewish experience through objects, ritual works, contemporary art, and historical artifacts drawn from the Jewish Museum’s collection. The exhibition creates a dialogue between past and present, weaving together themes of memory, belonging, migration, spirituality, and collective identity. Archaeological artifacts and ceremonial objects are presented alongside modern and contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, and installation, revealing how art can preserve traditions while continually redefining cultural narratives. Special focus galleries deepen this exploration through dedicated presentations examining film, community, colonial history, and contemporary artistic practices. The renewed learning spaces further extend the experience through educational displays and a monumental installation of more than 130 Hanukkah lamps from across different periods and geographies, highlighting the enduring significance of ritual, craftsmanship, and shared cultural heritage.

Inspired by an imagined episode from the life of Bernard de Mandeville, this installation reflects on the fragile relationship between power, accident, and consequence. A minor domestic incident — a spilled cup of tea, an interrupted gesture, an expression fixed in a portrait — becomes the starting point for a meditation on chance and the invisible chain of events set in motion by every human action. At the center of the work is a scaled plaster interior: a vaulted room, an entrance, a half-open door, and a functioning chandelier illuminating the scene. Within this suspended and silent space stands a wax figure, motionless at the foot of a staircase, one hand extended in an ambiguous gesture of request or supplication. Balancing between theatricality and stillness, the installation evokes a world where collapse never fully arrives, yet absence and misfortune quietly persist. The domestic setting becomes a metaphorical architecture of power, uncertainty, and unresolved expectation. Viewing by appointment only.
